League Of Ireland Mens U14 Lead Coach 2025

Cobh Ramblers Football club are currently looking for expressions of interest for the role of lead coach for the clubs League Of Ireland Mens U14 Team for the 2025 Season. The squad will be made up of players born in 2011.

The squad will be assembled in the coming months and will be selected in September when they will begin the pre-academy phase in September 2024, training together and playing non-competitive matches in preperation for the League Of Ireland Mens U14 Team for the 2025 Season. Training will take place in Cobh between the Stephen Ireland Astro Turf and St. Colmans Park.

Ideally Applicants for the managers positions would meet the following minimum criteria but the club are open to anyone interested who would have previous experience playing at a high level and we can assist and support with coaches and scouting networks who are familiar with the 2011 age group and have the required coaching certificates. Cobh Ramblers can also assist any candidate in achieving coaching qualifications and progressing throught the FAI coaching pathway.

Preferential Criteria:

  • Garda Vetting and Safeguarding training (Essential)
  • “UEFA B” or a Valid UEFA recognition of competence equivalent to the licence required
  • Experience and Knowledge of the 2011 Cork Schoolboys League squads
  • Experience of coaching at a national or Schoolboys League Level and development of underage Players
  • Strong motivation and organisational skills
  • Candidate will report to the Head of academy Brian Murray
  • Candidate will undertake recruitment plan as per new club Strategy heading into 2025
