Paul Deasy appointed Cobh Ramblers Football Club Commercial Manager

Cobh Ramblers Football Club are delighted to announce that we have appointed Paul Deasy as the club’s Commercial Manager.

Having grown considerably in the past few years, the role of the Commercial Manager in the club has become an important part of the club’s strategy. From driving sponsorship and partnerships, to developing the Cobh Ramblers brand within the community, the board felt that the role required a designated person to ensure that we continue to grow our commercial network. In doing so, giving a return on investment to those businesses who ensure that we can continue to operate in the ever-challenging remit of the League of Ireland. Paul’s role will allow us to further engage with our existing sponsors and create a network of partners through the medium of supporting Cobh Ramblers FC.

Paul brings a wealth of experience to the role. From 2019 – May 2023 he was Commercial & Marketing Manager at Cork City Football Club.

Speaking on the appointment Paul said: “I am absolutely delighted to come on board with Cobh Ramblers as Commercial Manager. Having spoken with the club over the last number of months, I have been really excited at where the club are at and where they are looking to go. I see massive potential in the club both on and off the pitch and I look forward to getting stuck into the role right away and helping drive the board’s strategy and goals.”

If you are interested in speaking to Paul in relation to any commercial opportunities at Cobh Ramblers, please feel free to drop him an email paul@cobhramblers.ie
