First senior contract for Duggan

Cobh Ramblers academy graduate Fionn Duggan has signed his first senior contract at the club ahead of the 2022 League of Ireland season.

The 19 year old Cobh native came through the ranks at Springfield Ramblers and Douglas Hall before joining our U17 set-up in 2018. He spent four seasons in our academy, captaining the U19 side this year. The versatile defender was voted National Underage Player of the Month in July this season, and also picked up our overall Academy Player of the Year Award for 2021.

Fionn made his first team debut at home to Wexford in 2021 and went on to make 9 senior appearances during the season.

Fionn joins Danny O’Connell, John Kavanagh, Ben O’Riordan, Conor Drinan, Jake Hegarty, James McCarthy, Jason Abbott, Pierce Phillips, Sean Barron, Nathan O’Connell, Ciaran Griffin and Beineón O’Brien Whitmarsh as confirmed members of our 2022 squad.
