Andy O’Connell re-joins Ramblers

Andy O'Connell

Cobh Ramblers are delighted to announce that Andy O’Connell has re-joined the club for the 2016 season. Andy previously played for Cobh in the second half of the 2014 campaign, before signing for Galway United last year. Andy began playing with Cork City’s u19 squad in the 2011/12 season and progressed onto their senior side under Tommy Dunne.

Apart from a brief spell at Colleg Corinthians, Andy remained with Cork until the summer transfer window of 2014 when Martin Cambridge added him to Ramblers’ squad. He linked up again with Tommy Dunne at Galway last season, making 10 appearances in the Premier Division, as well as the EA Sports Cup Final. His father Damien has also played for the club.
