Team news for Wexford FC Clash

The 2017 season finally gets underway on Saturday as we host Wexford FC at 3pm in St Colman’s Park. Following last season’s dramatic play-off run, excitement levels are high once again for another thrilling campaign.

Midfielder Darren Murphy will miss out through injury while Cian Kingston faces a late fitness test. This week also saw Jonathan Creamer depart the club and we wish him the best in the future.

The game offers a potential debut for recent arrival Ross Mann from Limerick FC. Shane Lowth, Dean Swords and Ryan Hogan are in line for league debuts following their moves in the off-season. Goalkeepers Adam Mylod and Michal Sadys will be pushing Paul Hunt for a starting spot while midfielder Jason Abbott is set for a first league appearance since June 2016 having recovered from a shoulder operation. New club captain Chris McCarthy should lead the line having taken over the captain’s armband from Kevin Mulcahy.
