Midfielder Jason Abbott Signs for Ramblers


Cobh Ramblers are delighted to announce the signing today of midfielder Jason Abbott from Munster Senior League side UCC. Cobh native Jason previously played underage for Ramblers, winning the u16 National Cup and the League of Ireland u19 Southern Division. He has also spent time on scholarship in Boston and has played for Cork City at u19 and senior level.

Furthermore, this year saw Jason play for the Irish Amateur international side at Turners Cross. He was most recently on the successful UCC Collingwood Cup winning team, playing a pivotal role in their season. We are very much looking forward to his return to the club.

Cobh Ramblers Football Club is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue.
