The club are delighted to announce that midfielder Shane O’Connor has agreed to remain at the club for the 2016 season. ‘I’m delighted to be signing back again. Even though I have had offers from both divisions in Ireland, I believe we can do something special in Cobh and I want to be part of that. With a few additions to the squad, I believe that next season could be a special one. I’m very happy here and Hendo has been great to me and has given me belief and confidence in my game again. I’m looking forward to getting back and getting started.”
