Charlie Fleming and Adam Mylod re-sign for 2018

Cobh Ramblers FC are delighted to announce that defender Charlie Fleming and goalkeeper Adam Mylod have become the latest players to re-sign for the club ahead of the 2017 season.

Charlie is one of the club’s longest serving players having joined our u19 set-up from local side Springfield Ramblers in 2014. He spent three seasons progressing through our u19 programme before making his senior debut away to Cabinteely in 2016. Since then the full back has gone on to make 53 appearances, scoring once at home to Athlone in August 2016. He has played a pivotal role in the squad over the past two seasons and continues to go from strength to strength. Charlie is a graduate of the successful FAI ETB course in Carrigaline.

Goalkeeper Adam Mylod has also re-signed for club, joining his older brother Ian who committed to the club last week. Adam joined us prior to the 2017 campaign from Cork City’s u19 setup. He was a previously a member of Cork’s 2016 UEFA Youth League squad and picked up an Enda McGuill Cup medal among other titles. The netminder has also played for Leeside where he represented their senior side at the age of 17. Adam made two appearances last year, both in the EA Sports Cup, and will provide competition for experienced goalkeeper Paul Hunt.

Today’s duo brings to ten the number of players re-signed by Stephen Henderson for the 2018 campaign.
