Ramblers u17’s host Wexford Youths in Shield Tournament

imageWhile most eyes are on our senior team in Athlone this weekend, our u17’s are also in action as they entertain Wexford Youths in the First Round of the U17 Shield Competition this Saturday at 2pm. Both sides competed in the Southern Division this season with Cobh winning 4-1 away and 6-3 at home in their meetings with tenth place Youths.

Munster Schools trio Ryan O’Regan, Matthew Lamb and Eoin Davis return to club action having impressed at the Interprovincials last weekend. This is a great opportunity to watch Ethan McCarthy’s young side in action, who only missed out on the play-offs on goal difference this year.
