U15 Coaching Staff Confirmed

Cobh Ramblers U15 Head Coach John Forrest has announced his Backroom Staff for the upcoming 2020 season.

John himself is a former Ramblers player, having donned the claret and blue in the late 2000s and early 2010s. John has coached for many years in the Cork Schoolboys League and steps up to the Head Coach position having spent the last two seasons coaching with Ramblers U15s and U17s.

John is joined by David O’Leary. This is David’s first year coaching at National League level. He spent the 2019 season as coach of the Munster and All-Ireland winning CSL U12 side.

Paul O’Rourke is also part of the team and has over 20 years of coaching experience in Cobh. He comes from a long line of the O’Rourke family connected with the club. Paul’s two nephews Michael and Stuart currently play with the U19 squad. Paul has completed his C licence and plans on doing his B licence this year.

Alan Geasley also joins the team as a first time coach at National League Level. Alan has spent the past six years coaching and managing Springfield Ramblers’ U15 side, who now compete in the Premier Division following back to back promotions, the latter coming as U14 league champions.
