Darren himself brings a vast wealth of experience to the role, from his playing career in the UK with clubs such as Everton and Barnet, and in Ireland with Cork City, Limerick and St Pat’. He provides a perfect role model for the players having also won 18 underage caps with Ireland.

Darren is joined by Dean Buckley. Dean also brings national league experience from his playing career and has also been coaching with UCC for the last number of years.

Craig Hurley has also joined the backroom staff. Craig has vast coaching experience with the Cork Youths League and Cork City FC Women in the National Women’s League.

The final member of the team is Tony Girasole. Tony has been involved in Cobh football for many years with Ramblers and Springfield and we are delighted to have him return to St Colman’s Park.
