TIMO SIGNS FOR 2026

Cobh Ramblers FC are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Timothy Martin has put pen to paper on a deal which sees him rejoin the club for the 2026 season.

The Luxembourg shotstopper joined the Rams at the start of 2025 from RE Virton and went on to record 14 clean sheets in 41 appearances across all competitions, including having the most clean sheets of any goalkeeper during the 2025 League of Ireland Men’s First Division campaign.

On his signing, Timo says, “I am very happy to sign for Cobh again for this season! I have been with the squad training for some time now, and I’m excited to finally get to play in St. Colman’s Park in front of the fans again! I can’t wait to see you all again on matchday!”

Cobh Ramblers manager Fran Rockett adds, “We’re delighted to get Timo onboard with us again for this season.

He’s been in training the past few weeks with us and has shown his quality on a consistent basis.

Along with his exceptional form last season and his international experience of playing for Luxembourg u21’s, Timo will be a massive addition to the already fantastic goalkeeping setup currently at the club.

Adding this level of signing to the squad shows the clubs ambition to continuously improve moving forward.”
