We are pleased to announce that defender Michael McCarthy has signed a senior contract with the club for the 2023 League of Ireland season.

The 18 year old Youghal native first joined Cobh Ramblers at U15 level from Midleton and has since progressed through our academy set-up. Michael made his first team debut in 2022 and went on to make 8 First Division appearances. Capable at both full back and centre back, the impressive young talent remains eligible for our U19 side in 2023.

He becomes the sixth confirmed member of manager Shane Keegan’s playing squad for the 2023 League of Ireland campaign.
