Phillips latest Ram to re-sign

Ramblers midfielder Pierce Phillips has today become the latest player to re-sign for the club ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland season.

The 24 year old joined the club in 2020 from Cork City. He also spent part of the 2018 campaign on loan at St Colman’s Park, which will make the upcoming season his fifth at the club.

Phillips has made over 60 first team appearances in claret and blue, 19 of which came last season. He came through the Rockmount schoolboy set-up, before joining Cork City’s Academy in 2015. He would remain at the club until 2020 when he joined the Rams on a permanent deal.

Pierce becomes the fifth confirmed member of manager Shane Keegan’s playing squad for the 2023 League of Ireland campaign, with further announcements to come shortly.
