Regix Madika And Dylan Burke Sign Up

Cobh Ramblers football club are pleased to welcome Regix Madika And Dylan Burke to our First Team Squad for the Remainder of the 2025 Season as we prepare for our home game this evening at St. Colmans Park where we welcome Athlone Town.

Dylan Burke joins Cobh Ramblers after a spell at German Side Bremer SV having transfered to them from Heider SV.

Dylan “I’m really excited about joining Cobh having seen so much potential to succeed as a club, with this group of players & staff. Being a young team in the league the squad isn’t short on talent. I hope that having played overseas the past 8 years I can use my experience to help this team push for playoffs where they belong. I look forward to the challenge and I’m eager to get to work immediately”

First Team Manager Gary Hunt

Having spent a little bit of time training with the group upon his return from Germany, Dylan has fit in naturally with the group having shown the characteristics that define what is expected of a Ramblers player. I am looking forward to seeing how he handles his return home as he is a player with the ambition to show what he can do on the highest level possible.
His leadership skills will hopefully help shape some of the younger players in the group to improve and begin to realise their full potential as this is something I felt the group could do with more of. Ticking a lot of boxes in what we were looking to recruit in this window, I am looking
forward to working with Dylan and I am sure the Rams fans will get right behind him as we continue to chase down those playoffs positions.”

Regix joins from Villa FC in Waterford and will be familiar to all at St. Colmans Park having signed for the First team ahead of the 2022 Season which unfortunately came to an early stop due to injury.

Regix “Firstly I would like to thank Gary and the coaching staff for having me on board. I am thrilled to be back in Cobh. Unfortunately my first stint with Cobh didn’t go to plan because of the leg break, however I’m feeling optimistic about what’s to come. My hopes for the near future is to push for the promotion spots and the only way we can achieve that is by taking it step by step. Obviously as a striker I would like to get goals and push the team closer to promotion”

First Team Manager Gary Hunt on his two signings

“Regix will come in and give us a different dimension to the type of forwards we currently have. Having known and worked with Regix for such a long time, I know the potential for him to come in and make it hard for defences and I also hope that the competition will bring the best out of the current players in the squad.
Regix has matured from the last time he was here and even though it was an injury laden stint you can see that he was well liked around St Colman’s Park and that familiarity with the club should mean he can kick on immediately and work hard to show what he is capable of at this
level.”

Tonights Game at St. Colmans Park Kicks off at 19:45. Tickets available on line and at the gate.
