We can confirm that the following two pre-season friendlies will take place in the coming weeks as we prepare for the 2017 League of Ireland season.

Cobh Wanderers (H). St Colman’s Park. Tuesday 24th of January. KO – 19.45 (In aid of Cobh Playground Fundraising).

Galway United (H). St Colman’s Park. Saturday 18th February. KO – 5pm.

The game with local Munster Senior League Premier Division side Cobh Wanderers will also serve as a fundraiser for Cobh Playground Fundraising and your support is very much appreciated.

Former Wexford Youths boss Shane Keegan will be bringing his new Galway side to Cobh the week before the season begins. We also played them in pre-season in 2015, at Fota Island Resort.

We will be announcing further friendlies in due course. We shall also be confirming the details for our Munster Senior Cup game with Limerick FC. In total we hope to play five games in our pre-season.

These games will provide stern tests for Stephen Henderson’s side, allowing us to prepare well for the new campaign.
