In 2023 he moved to the U19s and was part of the team that finished 3rd last year in the League. In his first year at U19s he again picked up MU19 Player of the Year. In August of that year, he took part in his first ever Ireland camp and In October 2023 Charlie made his first team Debut for Cobh Ramblers.

Ivan Bevan(Head of Academy 2018-2023): “Charlie has been the perfect example of an Academy player. He has worked really hard on and off the pitch to Improve himself, and met and surpassed every new challenge and developmental stage in his LOI career. He was focused on his goals from the first day and we are delighted to see him take the next step. He continues to be a very respectful young man, and was a pleasure for all his coaches to deal with. We believe that Exeter City can help him improve even more, and we wish him all the best in his career.”

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Blarney United FC for developing Charlie from an early age and are glad to have been able to further his development over the past 3 years.
We would also like to thank Exeter City F.C., Charlies dad Alan and family who throughout the process have been a pleasure to deal with and we wish Charlie and Exeter City F.C. all the best for the remainder of the season.
