Dean Larkin Back for 2024

Cobh Ramblers have completed the loan signings of Waterford FC’s Dean Larkin for the 2024 Season. The promising 20-year-old is a product of the Waterford academy. He made 14 First Division outings last year for Waterford before his loan move to St. Colmans Park where in 10 League appearance he helped the club to the promotion Playoff Final, playing in both legs against Wexford also in the playoffs. He Joins his brother Jack at the club who re-joined the Rams earlier in the month after spending two seasons in the US with the MSU Mustangs.

Gary Hunt:

I’m delighted to welcome Dean back to the club. Having had a strong end to the 2023 season, I knew if he became available it would be one to make sure we got back and thanks to Keith & Waterford for that.

I know Dean a long time and I know that he will put his head down and work extremely hard both for himself and the club and those qualities are something that make him stand out alongside his obvious talent.

It will be a great moment to potentially see him play senior football alongside his brother Jack in the League of Ireland and I’m sure they will both work hard to make that happen.

Dean Larkin:

I’m delighted to be back for the new season. Really enjoyed my time at the club last year and looking to build on what we achieved from last season.
