Frahill re-signs ahead of 2024

Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce that defender Brendeán Frahill has re-signed for the club ahead of the 2024 League of Ireland season.

29 year old Brendeán has made over 150 club appearances across two spells at St Colman’s Park. The Cobh native came through the Springfield Ramblers academy before joining our U19 side in 2011. He made his first team debut in 2013 and re-joined the Rams in 2022 from Cobh Wanderers.

New manager Gary Hunt had this to say on the news,

“I’m delighted to have Brendeán signed up for 2024. He was an important part of the team last season and you could see his qualities both in and out of possession. This club means a lot to him and I know he will continue to give 100% in everything he does for Cobh Ramblers. It’s no surprise that there are some young exciting defenders coming through the club when you have a role model such as Brendeán to look up to.”

Further members of Gary Hunt’s squad will be announced in due course. 2024 Cobh Ramblers Season Tickets are now available to purchase online here ahead of the new League of Ireland season.
