Cobh Ramblers are pleased to announce the signings of Luke Desmond, Issa Kargbo and Sean McGrath from Cork City.
A 19 year old midfielder, Luke Desmond captained City’s U19 side last season and made one First Division appearance. The Kinsale native came through Cork’s Academy set-up, first joining their U17 side in 2018.
20 year old Issa joined Cork City from Ringmahon Rangers and came up through their academy system alongside twin brother Uniss. He made his first team debut in the 2020 Munster Senior Cup. He can play both as a full back and as a winger.
Finally, 19 year old attacker Sean McGrath featured for both Kerry and Limerick’s underage sides before joining City in 2019. The young forward also joins the Rams for the 2022 season.
