Conor Meade joins U17 Coaching Staff

Cobh Ramblers F.C. are delighted to announce that former player Conor Meade has joined the coaching staff of our U17 side.

Conor’s lengthy playing career as a prolific striker included spells at Ramblers, Cobh Wanderers and Waterford United and his addition to our U17 team will be highly beneficial.

Manager Marc O’Donovan Wyatt had this to say, “We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Conor is joining us. His experience playing at the highest level in Ireland will bring an invaluable insight both on and off the pitch for all of us. During our meetings his passion, organisation and aptitude towards player development shone through and we are delighted that he is joining us. I have no doubt that he will be an important asset for us in the second half of the season and beyond.”

Conor himself also spoke on the appointment , “I’m delighted that Marc has asked me to re-join the club. I am looking forward to working with the U17s who’ve already had a really good season. The club is doing a lot of good work behind the scenes and I’m excited to help in anyway possible.”
