OFFICIAL: Cobh Ramblers Sign Goalkeeper Timothy Martin!
Cobh Ramblers FC is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Timothy Martin from Royal Excelsior Virton! 
Standing tall at 1.90m, the 23-year-old Luxembourg international brings a wealth of experience to St. Colman’s Park ahead of the new season. ️
Martin’s journey has seen him develop at Aubange, R.E. Virton, and RSC Anderlecht, before beginning his professional career with Nîmes B (France) in 2020-21. He later returned to Belgium, where he made 23 appearances in the second tier with Virton and gained top-flight experience on loan at RFC Seraing in 2022-23.
On the international stage, Martin has earned 4 caps for Luxembourg’s U21 side.

“Timo joined our preseason training a few weeks ago and impressed with his ability and work ethic. It took us a while to get his paperwork finalized, but I am delighted to add him to our great group of goalkeepers. Competition for the starting position will be fierce, and that’s what we all want at this club – players fighting for their shirt.”
Timo: “ I’m delighted to have signed for the club. When I spoke with the manager about the project it was a project that immediately made me want to be part of it. I can’t wait for the league to start and to be able to help the team achieve its goals.
