Cobh Ramblers FC is thrilled to unveil our plans to launch a Senior Women’s League of Ireland team by 2026—a landmark step in our club’s history and a testament to our dedication to advancing women’s football in Ireland.
With the unwavering support of FC32, our ownership group, and a player-first philosophy, this expansion will create a clear and professional pathway from youth development to senior football. Talented female players will now have the opportunity to grow and thrive within a structured and ambitious environment at Cobh Ramblers.
Building for the Future: Expanding Our Women’s Academy
As part of this long-term vision, we are actively growing our Women’s Academy, laying the foundation for the future success of our senior squad. We are now recruiting skilled and passionate individuals to key positions across our U19 and U17 Women’s League of Ireland teams.
This is a unique chance to play an instrumental role in developing elite female footballers and shaping the future of women’s football at Cobh Ramblers.
Current Vacancies: Key Positions Available
Head Coaches (U19)
- UEFA A or B Licence required
- Strong leadership and experience in elite youth development
Assistant Coaches (U19 & U17)
- UEFA B Licence preferred (or currently working towards it)
- Experience in tactical analysis and player support
Goalkeeper Coaches (U19 & U17)
- UEFA Goalkeeping Licence or equivalent
- Expertise in specialised youth goalkeeper training
Strength & Conditioning Coaches (U19 & U17)
- Relevant qualifications (NSCA, UKSCA, or equivalent)
- Focus on fitness, injury prevention, and athletic performance
Performance Analysts (U19 & U17)
- Experience with video analysis tools (Hudl, Veo, etc.)
- Ability to track player progress and assist with tactical preparation
Sports Psychologist / Mental Performance Coach (U19 & U17)
- Expertise in mental wellbeing and performance mindset
