Andy O’Donoghue signs for Ramblers

Cobh Ramblers are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Andy O’Donoghue has signed for the club from Munster Senior League side Midleton.

Andy is a familiar face however at Ramblers, as last season he combined his role as the club’s goalkeeping coach while playing for Midleton. The experienced netminder, who has represented the MSL at interprovincial level, will remain involved with the backroom staff.

Andy has featured in our pre-season games to date and we are delighted to have the experienced netminder in our playing squad for the 2022 League of Ireland campaign, which is just five weeks away.

Andy could make his competitive debut in tomorrow’s Munster Senior Cup game away to Bandon, which takes place at 14:00.

2022 Cobh Ramblers Season Tickets and Membership Options are now available to purchase online here ahead of the new League of Ireland season.
