As we enter, what we hope, are the last few weeks of the extended off-season, the Cobh Ramblers Academy has been very active in preparing for a return to football.

Unfortunately, we have to announce that the club will be unable to hold Assessment training sessions before the new underage League of Ireland season begins. This decision was made in the interest of public safety for everybody involved. The club received over 200 registrations of interest for the Academy, and we hope to be able to hold assessments at some stage later in the year. We offer a huge thanks to all of the players who wanted to play with Ramblers..

All four Academy squads are working remotely with their coaching teams, and all are determined to be ready for pre-season when it is safe to do so.  All four squads will be announced in the coming weeks.

The club are finalising details to again base our training at the Mayfield United complex. This will allow the teams to have access to 4 grass pitches and a 4G All Weather facility.

The Academy have also added Andrew Croke as Lead Strength & Conditioning see coach, as well as Seamus Forde who will provide Analysis expertise to the U19 squad.
