Welcome Charlie O’Brien

Cobh Ramblers are pleased to welcome defender Charlie O’Brien to the club for the 2023 season.

The 17 year old joins from Cork City where he featured at U15 and U17 level. The Youghal native previously played schoolboy football with Youghal United and Midleton. The talented young defender has impressed throughout pre-season to date and also remains eligible for U19 football in 2023.

His brother Jake is currently on the books of English side Crystal Palace, having also played for Cork City.

Cobh Ramblers Football Club is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue.
