Cobh Ramblers are delighted to announce Trevor Cummins as our new Strength & Conditioning Coach. Trevor returns to St Colman’s Park for a second spell after previously representing the club at u-21 level. While his playing days may be over, the former midfielder has went on to carve out success as a health and fitness professional, working with both the general population and sportspeople of East Cork and its surrounding areas.

The 34 year old coach is currently studying Strength & Conditioning (BSc) at the world renowned Setanta College in Thurles where he is developing his understanding of the physical preparation, rest, recovery and injury prevention strategies required of elite athletes.

Excited about the prospect of assisting Stephen Henderson and his coaching staff, Trevor has stated his intention ‘to ensure all of the players are in the best possible condition to deliver consistently high levels of performance.’

Stephen Henderson himself had this to say on the appointment, “We are delighted Trevor has joined the coaching staff at Cobh Ramblers.
Trevor’s role will go beyond the first team as he will be implementing fitness strategies that are also specific to our youth teams. Trevor is another vital cog in the Cobh Ramblers football strategy that we are currently in the process of finalising with all of our teams. I look forward to working with him over the coming season.”
