Ramblers launch ‘Sniffers Brew’

Cobh Ramblers in partnership with Porterhouse BrewCo are proud to unveil the first of our many initiatives to mark our historic Centenary Year – our very first Cobh Ramblers branded beer;

“Sniffers Brew”

Sniffers Brew is of course named after one of the many legends associated with the infamous 1983 team, the great Frank ‘Sniffer’ O’Neill. Nicknamed Sniffer for his amazing ability to sniff out a goal, Frank was one the many adored by many Cobh locals and football fans all over the country. Sniffers Brew, brewed at the home of our Official Beer Partners, Porterhouse Brewery, is a classic light lager. Crisp, fresh & clean with gentle malty notes and a bright sweetness that keeps you going for more. The beer is on offer in the clubhouse bar for the special price of 3 for €12 for the remainder of 2021.

This is sure to be a hit with fans and party goers in the club throughout our Centenary Year, so be sure to call up and sample Sniffers Brew throughout the Christmas period and keep on eye on our social media for more announcements regarding the celebration of our Centenary Year as we look to honour those who have paved the path for us to be where we are today.

Poem by Kenneth Hickey

The club would like to place on record its thanks to the O’Neill family for giving us their permission to recognise the legend himself. We also wish to thank Dave Cummins from Porterhouse for all his effort in helping us select and launch the beer and last but not least many thanks to Niall Corcoran
and Brian Wilson for their support in designing the logo and graphics.
