John Forrest appointed U15 Manager

Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce John Forrest as the club’s U15 manager for the 2020 U15 League of Ireland season.

John is heavily experienced in the club, having been a key part of the U17 coaching staff last season, and a member of the U15 set-up prior to this in 2018. He is also a former Ramblers player, representing the club initially at Youths level, followed by a spell with the A Championship squad in 2010.

He received his UEFA B License earlier this year and has extensive coaching experience with College Corinthians.

The remainder of the coaching staff will be announced in the coming weeks.

Speaking on the news, John had this to say,

“I’m delighted to have taken the role. I’ve really enjoyed being back at the club in the last few years and it’s great to see the progress being made. We had a good season with the U17s last year and hopefully I can use what I learned there. I’ve been involved with the U15s before so I know what to expect. We have a busy few weeks ahead to prepare but I’m very much looking forward to it,”

We would like to thank Shane Power and Jonas Kerr for their time with the U15 side last season and wish them the very best of luck in the future.
