Hunt confirms coaching staff

Cobh Ramblers manager Gary Hunt has today confirmed the make-up of his coaching staff for the 2024 League of Ireland season.

Assistant Manager – Dave Moore
First Team Coach – Damien Rowe
Goalkeeper Coach – Noel Cantwell
Strength & Conditioning Coach – Dermot Ryan

Damien, Noel and Dermot will all continue in their roles from our very successful 2023 campaign, and we are delighted to welcome the club’s new assistant manager Dave Moore.

Dave is a former Ramblers player having spent two seasons at St Colman’s Park in 2003/04. Since then he has enjoyed a very successful coaching career at Cork City, where he most recently was their MU17 manager, having also served on the first team coaching staff. We very much look forward to welcoming Dave back to the Rams.

Gary Hunt had this to say about the appointments,

“I’m delighted to be able to finalise my backroom team. Having heard many good things about a lot of the current staff I was keen to speak to them to continue the good work they have been doing. Damien, Noel & Dermot are the kind of people that will help Cobh strive for progress year on year.

Dave Moore will come in to assist me as number two for the season and I am excited to work alongside Dave. He will bring a lot of good energy and know-how to the group. Dave’s understanding of the club and county will also be important for the Rams as we approach pre-season and I have no doubt the players will enjoy working with him.”

The club will continue with a number of exciting announcements in the coming days.
