FAI Cup: Limerick at home in Last-32

Cobh Ramblers have been drawn at home to Premier Division side Limerick FC in the last-32 of the FAI Senior Cup.

The Blues need no introduction to Cobh fans as we have faced them seven times in the past two seasons, including this year’s Munster Senior Cup, a game which they won 1-0 but was awarded to us after the Shannonsiders fielded an ineligible player. They boast former Cobh attacker Stephen Kenny in their ranks as well as local man John O’Flynn. They are currently sixth in the top tier under new manager Neil McDonald.

The tie is to be played the weekend of August 13th with further details to be announced.

The draw in full is as follows:
Waterford v Shelbourne, Bluebell United v Sheriff YC, Cobh Ramblers v Limerick, Longford Town v Sligo Rovers, Cabinteely v UCD, Shamrock Rovers v Glenville, Cobh Wanderers v Killarney Celtic, Bangor Celtic v Everton, Ballincollig v Athlone Town, Bray Wanderers v Cork City, Dundalk v Derry City, Portmarnock v St Patrick’s Athletic, Wexford v Crumlin United, Finn Harps v Bohemians, Evergreen v Drogheda United, Killester United v Galway United
