Cobh Ramblers have been drawn away to fellow SSE Airtricity League side Wexford FC in the first round of the EA Sports Cup. The 2018 EA SPORTS Cup will get underway on Monday, March 5 after the First Round Draw threw up some intriguing clashes.

Ramblers go into the clash with the better head to head record. The Rams faced Wexford four times in the 2017 SSE Airtricity League First Division winning three and drawing the fourth. (25 Feb: Ramblers 1 – 1 Wexford, 14 April: Wexford 1 – 2 Ramblers, 02 June: Ramblers 1 – 0 Wexford, 28 July: Wexford 0 – 2 Ramblers). The full first round draw can be found below.
