Cobh Ramblers U17s & U19s see structural changes

Cobh Ramblers Football Club are pleased to announce the following footballing structures for our U17 & U19 teams for the 2016 SSE Airtricity National League Season.

Len Hackett current manager of the U17’s moves to the U19’s and will be assisted by Derek Falvey. Len has previously held a number of coaching positions at College Corinthians at schoolboy and youth league level.

Len has also coached the cork schoolboys development squad and has experience coaching at munster senior league level with Ballincollig and Lakewood. During his time at ballincollig where he was first team coach ballincollig won promotion the the Munster Senior league first division. Len is Uefa A licence holder

The club is also delighted to announce that Ethan McCarthy has joined the club from Carrigaline Utd.

Ethan takes over the management of the u17’s. Ethan started out coaching at the age of 17. Now 25, he has built up a lot of experience working with Carrigaline Utd, Christians Brothers College, UCC, Cork Youth League and The Cork Schoolboys League. He obtained his Uefa B licence at the age of 22 and hopes to progress onto his A Licence in the coming year. Details of Ethan’s backroom staff will follow in the coming weeks

Cobh Ramblers Football Club is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue.
