Abbott and Frahill re-sign for 2023

Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce that midfielder Jason Abbott and defender Brendeán Frahill have become the first players to re-sign for the club ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland season.

Jason came through the underage set-up at Springfield Ramblers before joining Ramblers’ U19 set-up back in 2011. Across two spells at the club he has made over 90 first team appearances, picking up Munster Cup medals in 2016 and 2022. He has also spent time at UCC, Cork City and Cobh Wanderers.

Brendeán similarly came through the Springfield academy before joining our U19s in 2011. He made his first team debut in 2013 and has amassed over 100 first team appearances having re-joined the Rams in 2022.

Further members of Shane Keegan’s squad will be announced in due course.
