U14 Coaching Staff Confirmed

The club is hugely looking forward to the inaugural season of the U14 National League in 2021. New U14 manager David O’Leary will lead an exciting group of coaches, who are looking forward to introducing an excellent group of players to National League football.

Joining David’s backroom staff is Eric Goulding, who arrives at Ramblers with many years experience coaching at all levels in football, from Schoolboys to Colleges to Munster Senior League. This will be Eric’s first stint coaching at League of Ireland level and his vast knowledge of the game and recent intervarsity success will be a huge asset to the club.

Conor Walsh is the newest member of the U14 coaching panel. Having previously played underage with Ramblers at U17 and U19 level, Conor is now playing Munster Senior League football in Cork. Conor is a current Sport & Academic scholarship holder at IT Carlow and is currently starting off on his coaching pathway. Conor’s time playing League of Ireland with Cobh will be an invaluable resource for this young age group.

Finally, Brendan Keating joins us as U14 Goalkeeper Coach. A former first team player at the club, Brendan has also previously coached within the Ramblers academy at U17 Level. He has also spent time coaching Cork Schoolboys League representative sides. Brendan’s previous stint at the elite level should be an added bonus and help these new academy players beginning their League of Ireland careers.
