Statement ahead of opening home game

As we commence our home games at St Colman’s Park for the 2023 season this Friday against Wexford we would firstly like to thank our supporters for your support last season and we hope for bigger and better achievements this year. Our attendances were amongst the best in the division last season despite our lowly league position.

Unfortunately the behaviour of a small minority of our younger fan base when attending games at St Colman’s Park in 2022 was a source of frustration for the club.

Cobh Ramblers is a club for everyone and we pride ourselves on our match night experience. We will not tolerate a minority negatively impacting on the enjoyment of the game for the majority.

Therefore, we are issuing this notice, to remind all fans attending Friday’s home game against Wexford that all children under the age of 16, can only access the ground with an accompanying adult and must remain supervised by an adult at all times.

We also remind patrons that footballs or any rucksacks, bags etc. are not allowed to be brought in through the turnstiles by supporters. Anyone attempting to bring such items into the ground will be asked to leave them at the entrance. In addition anyone found with flares or similar pyrotechnics on entrance will be banned from future games.

These measures are being implemented to ensure that everyone who attends our games goes away having enjoyed their trip to St Colman’s Park as we continue on our upward trajectory.

Our matchnight ticket prices are as follows for the 2023 season:

Adult €15
3rd Level Student €10
Juvenile (aged 12 to 17) €7
OAP €7
Children Under 12: €5
(1 child (under 12) goes free with season ticket holder)

Season tickets remain on sale here and make for huge savings for supporters. There is a €90 saving alone to be gained on our adult season ticket this year. They will also be on sale at the gate on Friday.

Thank you for your support and co-operation and we look forward to seeing you all on Friday night.
