MIG Challenge Cup

Cobh Ramblers continue pre-season action on Saturday afternoon when the second edition of the MIG Challenge Cup takes place in St Colman’s Park. At 3pm the Rams will battle it out against MSL side Fermoy to see who will take home the 2022 trophy. Ramblers are the current holders, having won last year’s encounter which took place in Fermoy. The MIG Challenge Cup is sponsored by McCarthy Insurance Group, proud sponsor of both Cobh Ramblers FC and Fermoy FC.

Manager Shane Keegan is expected to rotate his squad from Thursday’s Munster Cup tie against Everton and likely to involve some of the Academy talents who have impressed to date in pre-season.

Entry on the gate is €5 and funds raised will go to the Cork Penny Dinners.

Ramblers’ next action is then Saturday’s MIG Challenge Cup against Fermoy which takes place at 15:00 in St Colman’s Park.
