Killian Cooper returns to Ramblers

Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce the signing of striker Killian Cooper for the 2021 League of Ireland season. The 21 year old attacker joins the club from Munster Senior League side College Corinthians.

Killian played for Everton AFC throughout his underage career before a spell at Ramblers’ first ever League of Ireland U17 side in 2015. At the end of that season he re-joined Everton’s senior set-up in the Munster Senior League. He then went on to feature for both College Corinthians and Avondale in the MSL Premier Division. The young striker was a prolific scorer throughout his seasons in the MSL and this saw him rewarded with representing the MSL at Inter-Provincial level.

He had this to say about the announcement earlier today,

“I’m delighted to sign for the club. I’m after settling in well in the last few weeks, and we can’t wait to get going and show everyone what we know we are capable of.”

“I’ve played a lot of adults football in the last few years which has helped me a lot as a player, in terms of my knowledge of the game and the physical side of my game. I’d like to thank everyone who has played their part in helping me get to where I am. I can’t wait to push myself further again this year.”

With our first team squad coming together, keep an eye on all things Ramblers for further news in the near future!
