Andrew Ryan is a familiar face, having been our host since the first Comedy Night. He is one of Ireland’s most exciting comedy talents in recent years and is a regular on both the UK & Ireland comedy scene. He has performed stand-up on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Best of the Edinburgh Festival Live, Live at The Comedy Store for Comedy Central and The Six O Clock show on Virgin Media. In Ireland Andrew performs regularly in Dublin and has been invited to perform at Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, Iveagh Gardens in Dublin, and the Galway & Cork Comedy Festivals.

Corkman Chris Kent emerged on to the Irish comedy scene in 2009, when the won the Bulmers Nuttin’ But Funny Competition. The following year he won the Comedy Smackdown at the Galway Comedy festival. He is now a regular MC at the City Limits comedy club in Cork and returns to Cobh after appearing at the 2015 event. As an actor, he can be seen in The Young Offenders among other shows.

Emma Doran is one of Dublin’s fastest-rising stand-up comics. The comedian and podcaster performed in some of Ireland’s biggest venues, including Vicar Street, the Olympia Theatre and 3Arena. Emma can also be heard on the FM104 breakfast show.

Finally, Ger Staunton is a headliner on the Irish stand up comedy circuit who has been described as “one of the best comedy writers in Ireland.” He has performed across the UK and the USA, including two European tours and shows at the Edinburgh Festival and the Vodafone Comedy Carnival.

We look forward to welcoming these hilarious talents to Cobh on December 28th and hope you can join us for what is always a great night for all!
