Ramblers U19 Coaching Staff Confirmed

Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce our u19 coaching staff in full for the upcoming 2019 season.

The team will be lead overall by academy manager Frank Kelleher who is in his second year at the club.

Ivan Bevan – Head Coach

Having come in to the u19 side for theĀ final six games of last season, Ivan brings plenty of familiarity to the role. Ivan also brings many years of proven player development and national league experience. He was part of a highly successful Cork Schoolboys League coaching team, who won multiple All Ireland titles, and provided a pathway for many players to play League of Ireland football and beyond. In the last 4 years Ivan has worked as part of the Cork City FC Womenā€™s coaching team, which won the FAI Cup in 2017.Ā Ivan received his UEFA A License in 2018.

 

Eric Higgins – Coach

Eric was also part of the U19 coaching team that came in to the side last season. He brings a wealth of elite coaching experience, having worked with the Cork Youths League side, Cork City Womenā€™s FC and a previous stint within the Ramblers Academy. Eric will complete his UEFA A License in 2019.

 

Damien Rowe – Coach

Damien has been part of the Ramblers coaching set up for the past 2 seasons and brings insideĀ knowledge of the players who haveĀ progressed through the Ramblers Academy. Damien has been involved in football in Cobh for over 20 years with Springfield among others.Ā Damien will complete his UEFA B License in 2019.

 

Kieran Dunlea – Coach

Kieran enjoyed an esteemed player career in local football before turning his attention to elite coaching. Kieran has worked with multiple Cork Kennedy Cup teams, Cork Youths League and Cork City Womenā€™s FC in recent seasons. HeĀ will also finalise his UEFA A License in 2019.

We are delighted to have all coaches on board and we will be announcing their u19 squad ahead of their seasonā€™s commencement.

Cobh Ramblers Football Club is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue.
