Ramblers trio re-sign

We are pleased to confirm that Darragh Burke, Issa Kargbo and Tiernan O’Brien have all re-signed for the club ahead of the 2023 season.

Goalkeeper Darragh Burke joined the club in 2022 from Cork City’s academy. The Cobh native came through Springfield Ramblers at underage level and made six first team appearances last year.

Full back Issa Kargbo also joined the club in 2022 from Cork City and the former Ringmahon Rangers schoolboy featured on twelve occasions during the year.

Finally attacker Tiernan O’Brien steps up from our U19 side, having also made two senior appearances last year. The Fermoy man first joined our Academy at U15 level in 2018 and has progressed through the national underage leagues in that time. He was awarded our overall Academy Player of the Year title in 2022.

Our next pre-season action takes place on Thursday night as we face MSL side Everton in the Munster Senior Cup. Please note that this game has been moved to the Stephen Ireland Astroturf, Oldchurch Park with a 19:45 kick-off.

2023 Cobh Ramblers Season Tickets and Membership Options are now available to purchase online here ahead of the new League of Ireland season.
