Liam McMahon Stand Unveiled

All of us at Cobh Ramblers FC were very saddened to learn of the recent passing of club legend Liam McMahon in December 2019. When legends who have contributed as much to Cobh Ramblers as Liam did in his lifetime, it is only fitting that the club honour them in the most appropriate way possible.
Therefore, we are delighted to announce that the Barrymore Avenue stand will forever be known as the Liam McMahon Stand, in honour of this great man. This will be made formal at our opening home game on Saturday February 22nd against Drogheda United, when our guests of honour on the night will be Liam’s family. In addition to this we would invite all of Liam’s former players to join us on the night as we honour Liam and his contribution to the football club.
The father of the modern Ramblers. Always missed, forever remembered. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
