“Two of Our Own” Jason Abbott and Brendán Frahill sign on for the 2025 Season

Cobh Ramblers Football club are delighted to announce that Jason Abbott and Brendán Frahill are the first 2 players to sign on for the 2025 League Of Ireland Season.
Both players played their schoolboy football at local club Springfield Ramblers.

Jason finished 2024 with 156 appearances. Brendan Frahill went over the 150 appearance mark,  and is now at 180 and in the top 5 players to have played for the Rams.

Both players picked up Munster Cup medals in 2016 and 2022 and will be hoping to add another this year, with our campaign kicking off away to Kerry FC on the weekend of the 17th of January.

Manager, Mick McDermott: “It was important to get Jason and Brendán over the line first. The club means a lot to both of them being from the town and they will pass that on to those around them during the season.”
