U15 Coaching Staff Confirmed

Cobh Ramblers U15 manager John Forrest has today announced his coaching staff for the 2021 season, hoping to build on their strong finish to last year.

Firstly, Jamie Buckley moves to our U15s after two successful seasons as part of the U19 coaching team. He brings a wealth of experience at both National League and intervarsity level. Jamie previously coached with the very successful Wexford Youths in the Women’s National League, as well as with IT Carlow and CIT, before joining up with Ramblers in 2019.

Remaining alongside John is Alan Geasley, who is in his second year as a coach with Ramblers U15s. Alan continues a strong tradition of Geasley family involvement in the club. He spent the past seven years coaching and managing in the Cork Schoolboys League with Springfield Ramblers U16s, who achieved back to back promotions under his guidance, the latter coming as league champions. Alan is another one of our coaches on the Coach Education Pathway, and will continue doing so in 2021.

Finally, Josh Kelly has joined the U15 set-up for 2021. Josh has been involved with the club for a number of years, most recently as part of the U17 coaching staff in 2019. Josh also brings experience in Strength and Conditioning, which will prove invaluable to the young players

We will announce the make-up of our U14 coaching staff within the coming days.
