Cobh Ramblers FC are pleased to announce that midfielder Stephen Kenny has re-signed for the 2019 campaign.

The native of Passage West has made 48 appearances in two separate spells at St Colman’s Park. Kenny spent two seasons with Cork City between 2012 and 2014 having graduated from their u19 setup. A short spell at Waterford United followed before he joined Cobh under Martin Cambridge in Summer 2014.

He was a vital member of our 2015 squad, finishing as our top scorer that season. Munster rivals Limerick FC snapped him up for their 2016 campaign and he helped them secure the league title in impressive fashion. Kenny remained with Limerick in the Premier Division before joining Galway United in 2018. Summer 2018 saw Stephen rejoin Cobh and he went onto make 9 appearances before the season concluded.

The experienced midfielder has over 200 League of Ireland appearances to his name and his re-signing is an undoubtable boost to Stephen Henderson and his squad.
