A thrilling encounter at St. Colman’s Park saw Ramblers and Wilton gain 1 point each, leaving both teams in joint second place in the Premier division. Cobh Ramblers Ladies / Bilbao 2008 (Sept 10th 2008)
Cobh Ramblers Ladies Soccer Team travelled to Bilbao, in northern Spain on the 21st August for a six day stay. While there, they took part in a Soccer tournament organised by ex – international Spanish goal-keeper Maite Muguruza. It had been Maite’s ambition for a couple of years to see Cobh Ramblers play against the two local clubs she played with during her soccer career. Her talent as a Goalkeeper was spotted early and she went on to represent her country at international level for ten years. More...
