Ian Turner is a Ram

Cobh Ramblers FC are delighted to announce that midfielder Ian Turner has joined the club. Most recently at St Patrick’s Athletic, Ian has made a total of 182 League of Ireland appearances at Cork City, Limerick and Pat’s.

A schoolboy at Wilton United, Ian graduated from Cork City’s u21 setup and made his senior debut in 2010. He spent five seasons in their senior squad before joining Limerick FC in 2015. A season back at Cork followed in 2016 before rejoining Limerick for the 2017 campaign.

Turner made the move to St Pat’s midway through 2017 and remained there in 2018, making 16 appearances for the club.

The 29 year old become the latest player to join Stephen Henderson ahead of the 2019 season.

Ian had this to say about the move “I’m delighted to sign for the club. I’m really looking forward to getting in and meeting my new team mates. It’s a new challenge for me as player and I can’t wait to start.”

We can also announce today that Ramblers’ Munster Cup quarter final at home to Waterford FC will take place on Wednesday January 23rd at 19:00 in St Colman’s Park.
