Hill signs first senior contract

Cobh Ramblers academy graduate Alex Hill has signed his first senior contract at the club ahead of the 2022 League of Ireland season.

The 19 year old joined the club’s U19 side in 2021 from St Mary’s, where had played at youths and MSL level. The full back quickly impressed for the U19s and earned a call-up to the first team squad during the summer.

Alex made his League of Ireland debut against Treaty United and would make four senior appearances during the season.

Hill joins Fionn Duggan, Justin Eguaibor, Danny O’Connell, John Kavanagh, Ben O’Riordan, Conor Drinan, Jake Hegarty, James McCarthy, Jason Abbott, Pierce Phillips, Sean Barron, Nathan O’Connell, Ciaran Griffin and Beineón O’Brien Whitmarsh as confirmed members of our 2022 squad.
