Ciaran Griffin makes Ramblers move

Cobh Ramblers are pleased to announce the signing of young striker Ciaran Griffin for the 2021 League of Ireland season. The 19 year old joins from Cobh Wanderers in the Munster Senior League. Pictured above is Ciaran at the premises of Doyle Shipping Group (DSG), who we announced as a club sponsor earlier today.

Ciaran spent the past two seasons playing senior football with Wanderers, and was among the MSL Premier’s top scorers prior to its disruption due to Covid-19. A Cobh native, Ciaran came through the Springfield Ramblers academy before making the step up to Cobh Wanderers’ youth set-up. He quickly earned a place in their senior squad and is a prime example of player progression involving all of Cobh’s football clubs.

He had this to say earlier today,

I’m delighted to have signed for such a great club like Ramblers. There’s a great squad here and we’re all really looking forward to the season ahead.”

With the 2021 season fast approaching, pick up your season ticket today which will include free streaming access to all home games and priority access to games when Covid restrictions allow. Season tickets are available to purchase here!
