Abbott re-signs for 2022

Ramblers midfielder Jason Abbott has today become the second player to re-sign for the club ahead of the 2022 League of Ireland season.

The 27 year old joined the club in the 2021 summer transfer window from Munster Senior League side Cobh Wanderers. This is his third spell at the club having also featured at U19 level in 2012 and more recently between 2015 and 2017. With 57 club appearances to his name, he has also featured for UCC and Cork City in the past.

Jason becomes the second confirmed member of manager Darren Murphy’s playing squad for the 2022 League of Ireland campaign, with further announcements to come shortly.
